Cultural Events in Greece

We are increasingly asked about cultural events available for guests to visit whilst on their yacht.
Below are a number of lesser known, less subscribed events that might pique your curiosity and help in the planning of your charter.

Rhodes cultural festival. During the summer months.
A variety of artists perform in the Moat Theatre, with the backdrop of the walls of the Medieval city of Rhodes. A splendid, yet simple setting, ideal for concerts. The programme includes, an opera week – usually in May and orchestral concerts, Greek singers, theatre, ballets from across the world throughout the summer months.

Athens concert season.
Both the Herodus Atticus Theatre, at the base of the Acropolis in central Athens and the Lycabettus Theatre host a variety of concerts, theatre performances and ballets, each summer. Both are amazing, ancient sites, the atmosphere at which adds hugely to the experience.
