Commissioned in the spring of 1982 this 17m. ocean-going ketch was built to handle ocean cruising. With comfortable accommodation for up to six guests and safety equipment which more than meets the British Board of Trade specifications, she makes the perfect charter boat for both grown ups and kids. Accommodation is in two double cabins and one twin-bedded cabin (which can be made up as a double if requested). There is an en suite bathroom in the main double cabin and two other separate WCs and showers. The large saloon is ideal for dining, watching TV, listening to music or just relaxing. Ample deck space means plenty of room for stretching out in the sun or lazing in the shade of the deck awnings. There is no direct translation in English for the word "shibumi" but for the Japanese it describes a much sought-after though rarely achieved sense of well-being ... which is exactly what a vacation on board Shibumi can bring. Sail where you want, eat what you want - and the food is superb! - play when you want ... or just lie back and dream. Shibumi provides the ultimate relaxed environment.
