Tinos

is the third largest island of the Cyclades. The island is famous amongst Greeks for the Church of Panagia Evagelistria,the monastery of Kechrovouni its 80 or so windmills about 1000 artistic dovecotes , its ancient temple of Poseidon, it’s archaeological museum and its Venetian fortifications at the mountain, Exobourgo. Tinos is also well known for its famous sculptors and painters , the school of Fine arts which is situated at the beautiful village of Pyrgos and it’s traditional villages and the rocky landscape at the village of Volax.
